The above image is a closer view of the 'Gulf' region of the North American Nebula. The image was recorded with a filters designed to transmit light emitted by hydrogen, sulpher and oxygen atoms.

Data aquired unattended with CCDAutoPilot using 2.5 pixel dithering and automatic focus routines between exposures.

Calibration, registration and image combine in Mira Pro 7.

Debloomed with Ron Wodaski's DeBloomer Plugin for Maxim DL.

Each channel deconvolved using 2 passes of CCD Sharp and then DDP stretched in Maxim DL 4.

Channels color combined in Maxim DL 4.

Ha (Green), SII (Red), OIII (Blue).

Historgram adjustments and iterative sharpending using Photoshop CS.
