The above image is a closer view of the 'Gulf' region of the North American Nebula. The image was recorded with a filter designed to transmit light emitted by hydrogen atoms.

Data aquired unattended with CCDAutoPilot using 2.5 pixel dithering and automatic focus routines between exposures.

Calibration, registration and image combine in Mira Pro 7.

Debloomed with Ron Wodaski's DeBloomer Plugin for Maxim DL.

Ha data deconvolved using 2 passes of CCD Sharp and then DDP stretched in Maxim DL.

Historgram adjustments and iterative sharpending using Photoshop CS.
